Summary
Polish Foreign Minister Radoslaw Sikorski began a six-day visit to the United States on Feb. 28. The visit comes as Poland is searching for a foreign partner to help it construct nuclear power plants. Once viewed by the Polish public as symbols of Soviet oppression, nuclear plants could well be the key to Poland's freedom from dependence on Russian energy supplies in the future.
